From the Archives: My Friends Live in Many Places

In 1980, Polish-born photographer Dorka Raynor published My Friends Live in Many Places, the third of three photo-essay picture books she did with Albert Whitman. Raynor photographed young subjects from all over the world—from Japan to South Africa to Iran.

It’s worth noting that children who appeared in these photos are in their 30s and 40s now. Here’s to future generations growing up, too. Happy Friday!
