With the holidays here, we thought we would share with you some of the gifts we are buying for the children in our lives. So if you still need one more present for a young person in your life, feel free to copy one of our ideas.
Josalyn (editorial): a great map for a four year old in my life, an innovative book and block combination for another four year old on my list, and for a fifth grader with a funny bone, the newest Shel Silverstein, Every Thing On It
Kiki (customer service): a trampoline for my three sons and an American girl doll for my daughter
Kristin (editorial): I’m not buying for any kids this year. But if I were, I’d buy them all copies of I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen!
Kristie (digital & international): The little girls I have to shop for just entered the “Hello Kitty + pink + glitter” stage!
Michelle (marketing): niece (age 16)—helping buy new bedding (she is redecorating), nephew (age 14) – microphone and stand to go with amp-computer thingy that I helped buy last year (unless he changes his mind), and niece (age 9) – a secret because it’s associated with a gift from her parents
My own kids are getting a PS3 (Play Station 3), their first game system, along with a baseball game (MLB2K11) and a dance game (Just Dance 3). We also buy them a new book every year, and this year my daughter is getting Mr. Putter and Tabby Pick the Pears (one of our favorites from the library—we love when Mr. Putter zings those apples) and my son is getting Shiloh.
